For a perfect fitting choker

How to determine the correct size for a choker - illustrated measuring instructions

To ensure your choker fits perfectly, it is very important that you select the correct size when ordering.
Here we provide you with illustrated measuring instructions to make this step as clear and easy as possible.

Please note that these instructions only apply to chokers
For necklaces that are worn higher up, there are separate instructions here
--> Necklace measuring instructions

If possible, please remove any jewelry that could interfere with or distort the measurement and ensure good lighting.
Now please find a standard tailor's tape measure. Alternatively, you can use a piece of rope/string or a long strip of paper that you can measure later with a ruler.
Place the measuring tape around your neck so that it fits snugly but does not cut into your skin.
Please check that the measuring tape is positioned correctly on the skin at the back of the neck and that no hair is caught in it.
Now we continue on the front side.
Now place the measuring tape on top of itself so that it forms a “V” and lies in the hollow between the collarbones.
Read the value displayed and note it down without any allowances. (In the example shown, it is 36 cm.)
We make all the necessary allowances for a perfect fit in our manufactory.
Please don't be “overly precise.”
Measuring to the nearest half centimeter is perfectly adequate.

Since your choker will sit significantly lower than a necklace and will not fit tightly,
a comfortable measurement is much more important than one that is too exact.

You can use the measurement you have taken for any choker in the shop
and be sure that your new piece of jewelry will fit perfectly.
